CHALLENGE : Develop an inexpensive prosthetic leg for child amputees

SOLUTION : Designed an adjustable prosthetic leg with low manufacturing costs

*Project in 2011
The check point of my study was, if a child's limb is (above-knee) amputated, one of the growth plates near the knee will be removed so their stump will remain sized as a child's even after they become adults. Once the thigh socket fit into the amputated limb, there will mainly be height changes between the socket and knee, and between the knee and the ankle.
